Complete power and control delivery for offshore wind vessel

Ulstein Power and Control AS has signed a complete system delivery for a Construction Support Vessel (CSV) to the Netherlands based Acta Marine B.V.
The delivery includes complete packages of automation (ULSTEIN IAS), power management and control systems, maritime communication, integrated bridge solution and distribution and electric propulsion systems.

This gives us a solid entrance in delivering key systems to vessels operating in the offshore wind market, a market where we see a great potential for many of our products and systems. As an example, we believe that more efficient Power solutions will lead to major benefits for the type of operations executed by these ships. Our goal is to develop eco-responsible solutions for offshore wind vessels, and for the operators to make as little environmental impact as possible,” says managing director Gunnar H. Hide at Ulstein Power & Control.
The ship will be built at Ulstein Verft, for delivery in 2018.
