Shipowners and operators face a rapidly changing maritime industry. They meet new and stricter regulatory requirements, and operations need to be more sustainable and energy-efficient. Further, vessels must ensure maximum value throughout their lifecycle.

Transportation on site

Ulstein Verft has two multiwheelers which, when combined, have a total capacity of handling large sections exceeding 600 tonnes. The mobile crane, Terex 2800-1 has a maximum capacity of 600 tonnes. Trucks and several quays and dock cranes are available.

Yard facilities

Ulstein Verft is a compact and complete ship yard with excellent facilities, including dock hall, to secure the best possible quality on every process in the outfitting, integration and finishing of new builds, ship repairs and conversions. All assets are in walking distance from the yard administration offices.
