Ship history
The vessel was delivered on 29 February 2016 and started to work for Petrobras on an eight-year contract.
Ulstein Power & Control had the overall responsibility for the technical coordination of main switchboards, power distribution system, electrical propulsion and integrated automation system on both vessels. “This involved quality assurance and follow-up of the technical requirements. We chose the appropriate equipment based on the required speed, economy and operating profiles, and supplied the electrical distribution systems and control systems, as well as the electric propulsion solutions. The combination of equipment and control systems were optimised to provide good and reliable solutions,” said managing director Gunnar H. Hide.
