Ship history

Delivered on 8 November 2014, started to work on an eight-year charter for Petrobras.

Ulstein Power & Control had the overall responsibility for the technical coordination of main switchboards, power distribution system, electrical propulsion and integrated automation system on both vessels. “This involved quality assurance and follow-up of the technical requirements. We chose the appropriate equipment based on the required speed, economy and operating profiles, and supplied the electrical distribution systems and control systems, as well as the electric propulsion solutions. The combination of equipment and control systems were optimised to provide good and reliable solutions,” said managing director Gunnar H. Hide.

Petrobras has awarded long-term contracts to three owners from an OSRV 750 tender. Siem Offshore picked up three-year firm contracts for the SIem Maragogi.
