Ship history
‘Larissa' (yno ZJ2012) was delivered on 15 November 2011. She is ULSTEIN design number 50 from Ulstein Group.
The sister vessels ‘Despina’ and ‘Larissa’ are IMR vessels of the ULSTEIN SX130 design. The vessels were constructed for shipowner Neptune Offshore at the Zhejiang yard, China and were named in a joint ceremony on 26 October 2011. They were initially named 'Neptune Despina' and 'Neptune Larissa'.
At the time of delivery, Reef Subsea announced the signing of two five-year charter agreements for the two vessels. Therefore, the vessels changed names to ‘Reef Larissa’ and ‘Reef Despina’.
ULSTEIN has supplied design, detailed documentation and main equipment for these vessels, including main switchboards, bridge and control room consoles, ULSTEIN IAS® (integrated alarm and surveillance system), ULSTEIN COM® (communication and information), navigation equipment and ULSTEIN PMS (power management system).
The X-BOW®, combined with a diesel-electric propulsion system, ensures excellent performances with regards to fuel consumption, sea-keeping and speed.
2016: Golden Energy Offshore has the management of the vessel and her sister vessel.
April 2021: Larissa has been awarded several months of firm W2W work for the Dutch company Wintershall Noordzee AS, starting mid-April 2021 until 1 September 2021.
October 2021: Larissa sold to OceanPart Servicios Maritimos. The ship sails under the Brazilian flag.
