Far Superior is a UT 705 platform supply vessel (supply pipe carrier) designed by ULSTEIN. Contracted at Ulstein Hatlø AS (yno 207), delivered from BMV Laksevåg (yno 227), as this yard's first supply vessel.
Delivered 30 March 1990, named 31 March 1990, lady sponsor Mrs Guro-Lise Andersen, wife of manager in Farstad, Terje Andersen.

The vessel was converted in 1996.
