'Your maritime future'
The purpose of the course 'Your maritime future' is to establish an interest in youths to consider further education as an engineer. 50% of pupils having attended the course have later chosen to become engineers.
'Your maritime future' is arranged twice every year for 17- to 18-year-olds in the region of the maritime Norwegian cluster. The course is a cooperation between several maritime companies and organisations, and invitations go to upper secondary schools across geographical boundaries. The companies aim to give a broad insight into the varieties of the maritime activities in the region, and Ulstein Group has a role in this context to present innovative thinking.
